Smart EXRs Output

An in-house tool for the "Chalawan" project built to enhance the rendering process in Blender for compositing in Nuke; supports RenderLayer, LightGroup ; and features AutoGenerateNode, LayerOverview, MasterOutput, SmartDenoise, NukeDataConversion, Overscan, and more.
It's compatible with both Cycles and EEVEE.

How does it work?

- Generate render nodes -

Auto generate render nodes with understandable AOVs on both EXR and PNG render, supports multiple RenderLayers and LightGroups, smart manage on Shadow and Volumetric layers, smart denoise, and data conversion for Nuke.

- Layer Overview -

view and rearrange render layers for the pre-comp feature.

- Master Output -

set file paths for overall using output, provide naming variables ($F - File Name, $L - Layer Name).

- Render Properties -

render setting that mostly used, including Overwrite and Placeholder features for farm rendering (Limitation: These Features only work on the Scene Output File, in that case, you have to use either PNG or tmp as a placeholder file)

mist pass: viewing and setting near-far cilp distance on specific camera

- Smart Overscan -

create overscan camera with a bunch of features :)

Realistic Chromatic Aberration

RLChroma

"RLChroma" is a Gizmo designed to create Chromatic Aberration effects. It provides controls for both Transversal Aberration and Axial Aberration, enabling precise adjustments for a more realistic result.

What are Transversal and Axial Aberrations?
Key Differences

Transversal Ab.

Axial Ab.

'Transversal Aberration' occurs when light hits the edge of a lens and bends improperly; the farther out from the center the light is, the more often this happens.

'Axial Aberration' usually appears with a close, in-focus object against an out-of-focus background, creating a purple fringe around the in-focus object.

How I Replicated them in Nuke?

Transversal Ab.: Using GodRays nodes in each red and blue channel replicates the fringe.
This method lets us modify the blur quality through the 'steps' knob.

Axial Ab.: Using Blur with EdgeDetect node creates fringing around a specified object.
